Art Galleries, Antiques and other exhibits abound in this small mountain resort - organized gallery walks and private collection tours are frequent complements to the various charity benefits, as well as seasonal or community events in the area. Some galleries focus on national artist, however the area is home to a wide range of world renowned local artists who are featured as well. The sampling of galleries below is by no means exhaustive, and shows two primary geographic concentrations: along Sun Valley Road, as well as Downtown Ketchum.

No visit to Ketchum would be complete without losing yourself in Iconoclast Books, offering a fine selection of new, used and rare books.

Ketchum Ranger District Complex, First Street and Washington Avenue, Ketchum.

This historic building complex is mostly hand hewn log, lending a rustic contrast to many of the city's new buildings. This complex once belonged to the Sawtooth National Forest.

Its assortment of buildings includes a ranger station, maintenance building, warehouses and living quarters built by the Civilian Conservation Corps during the 1933 Depression.

Today it houses the City of Ketchum's Heritage & Ski Museum, which preserves 25 collections, including:

early wooden skis used in the valley prior to 1935

the 1930-1993 Gretchen and Don Fraser Collection

and early Sun Valley photographs

oral histories of the development of skiing in the American West
